Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Visa Facilitation for foreigners and stateless people travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17
Being guided by Paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby authorize as follows:
1. The citizens of foreign countries and stateless people with permanent residence in those countries travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17 may obtain visas at the offices of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
2. One of the following documents should be the basis for visa issuance:
2.1. The official invitation letter issued by the Azerbaijan Football Federation Association (AFFA);
2.2. The document confirming the accreditation in accordance with relevant rules of the Union of European Football Association (UEFA);
2.3. Ticket or document confirming the purchase of ticket for the final stage games of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17;
3. The people mentioned in the first part of this Order are entitled to apply for visas within the following period of time:
3.1. People travelling with official invitation letter issued by the Azerbaijan Football Federation Association (AFFA), as well as people accredited in accordance with relevant rules of the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) and travelling for organizational arrangements from April 1st– until June 1st 2016;
3.2. Team members and delegations participating at the final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17 from April 20th – until May 25th 2016;
3.3. Journalists accredited in accordance with relevant rules of the Union of European Football Association (UEFA), as well as people who have purchased tickets for final stage games of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17 from May 1st – until May 25th 2016.
4. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan are tasked to resolve issues regarding financial and technical provision of visa issuance at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan to people travelling to Azerbaijan for the final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17.
5. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:
5.1. inform the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) and relevant authorities of foreign countries on visa facilitations for people travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17;
5.2. place visa facilitation information for people travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17 at the web pages of the Ministry and diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
6. The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall inform the airline companies operating flights to the Republic of Azerbaijan on visa facilitations for people travelling to the Republic of Azerbaijan for the final stage of the European Football Championship among footballers under 17.
